Photogrammetry and Topographical Data using our advanced systems

Volumetric calculations:

For earthworks, stockpiles cut and fill volumes, our data is more accurate than your conventional surveying techniques given accurate and abundent ground control points are used in the pre-flight data collection. This data is used across the country by land surveyors, architects, construction companies and quarries to get quick, actionable data. For the most accurate volumetric measurements, we use the point cloud to take the measurements. 

 

3D Models: 

Create realistic 3D representations of your sites that is shareable to you and your clients via our online portal. 

 

Orthomosaics and Digital Elevation Models: 

Create 2D orthomosaics - essentially an up-to-date, very high definition google map image. From the 2D orthomosaic, you can measure distances and areas. From our elevation models, you can analyse the topographical characteristics of the land. 

 

Point Clouds:

Turn your images into high precision 3D point clouds. These can be used in line with the volumetric calculations, but also for other earthworks monitoring. 

 

Shareable:

All outputs from our surveys can be delivered and shared via online platforms such as Sketchfab which takes out the need for the client to invest in expensive professional softwares. We create interative annotatable maps that are easy to view and navigate. The map to the right of this section is an example of this. 

 

Deliverables: 

Outputs for GIS, CAD and 3D computer graphics software. Advanced spatial analysis and map production can be provided to enhance your results further.   

Case Study:  Dingle Quarry 

Client: Cape Civils Ltd. 

Requirements: Topographical Survey to determine fill volume and stockpile calculations of the quarry. Imported data into AutoCAD. Accuracy to 50mm. 

Deliverables: Data collection using the DJI X5 Pro. Data processing and point cloud output to .las/.dwg compatible file formats. Volumetric calculations.
